Dramatic new footage shows the incredible rescue of two people after they were trapped in a wadi in Al Ain.
The National Center for Search and Rescue posted a series of three videos on its Instagram showing the rescue and evacuation of two Sudanese nationals who were trapped in the middle of Wadi Ghashabah in Al Ain City after it flooded due to the heavy rains that have lashed the country.
The videos show a helicopter airlifting two people out of the wadi, with violent waters and high winds whipping the area below them. Onlookers can be seen cheering from the sidelines as the rescue is successful and the trapped people were flown to safety.
