Abu Dhabi - Mohiuddin is going back to his home country after working for 40 years at the Crown Prince Court.

It all seems like a dream for Kunji Mohiuddin,63, who got a royal farewell before leaving the UAE for good.
The Indian office assistant from Kerala had his share of fame when His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces took to twitter to bid the expat employee a warm farewell and praise his good work.

Mohiuddin is going back to his home country after working for 40 years at the Crown Prince Court.
"It feels as beautiful as a dream. It is better than a dream. I am overwhelmed by all this attention," Mohiuddin told Khaleej Times.
The twitter video shows Sheikh Mohamed shaking hands with Mohiuddin, hugging him, posing for pictures and exchanging friendly talks. Bidding him farewell, Sheikh Mohamed said Mohiuddin has been an example of a dedicated and diligent worker.
"I never expected it. This is for the first time in my life that something as big has happened," said Mohiuddin, who is married with five children. His three daughters are married, and the youngest one is studying in Kerala. His only son is working in Saudi Arabia.
"Sheikh Mohamed asked me if I was happy in the UAE, and why was I going back to India. He wanted to know all about my family and what my children were doing," said Mohiuddin.
He said that the Crown Prince also assured him that Emiratis and Indians are like brothers and that he can always consider the UAE as his home.
"It was a touching moment. Even though I have seen Sheikh Mohamed before from a distance, this is the first personal interaction with him. I feel honoured."
Mohiuddin came to the UAE in 1977 and landed a job as an office boy at the media department of the Crown Prince Court. Over the years, the expat got promoted as an Office Assistant. "I could not complete my Grade 10. It was my first and last job, and when I look back, I know I have always been happy."
"In all my 40 years in the UAE, I have known the love and warmth of many Emiratis. Many young employees in my office even address me as 'Baba.'
Thanks to his job, Mohiuddin said, he could educate his children, support his extended families and also build a house in Kerala.
"I owe everything to the UAE. This will always remain my home even if I go back."
Mohiuddin and his wife Abida,48, who is currently in the UAE on a visit, will fly back to India on February 15. His last working day at the Crown Prince Court is January 31.
