An excited little girl's video has gone viral on social media after she spotted a UAE royal on the road - the President of UAE His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan himself.

The UAE President is known to go for drives around UAE, especially Abu Dhabi, in his special SUV - but rarely makes public appearances, so this sighting had a little girl so excited that her father recorded the rare encounter as Sheikh Khalifa was passing by.
In the clip, the Arab girl can be seen waving at Sheikh Khalifa after she recognises him.

Her father - in the driver's seat - asked her to wave at the President as they approached his vehicle again.
The father-daughter duo wished him well and prayed Allah to bless him and protect him.
Apparently, Sheikh Khalifa can be seen asking his driver to slow down so that he can roll down his window further and reply to the family.
It is noteworthy that as most UAE royals, the President was driving around the city without any protocol or security convoy - reiterating the fact that the city and the country is truly one of the safest in the world.
Instagram users liked the video - commenting on the girl's infectious excitement and acknowledging Sheikh Khalifa for his simplicity and humility - an example for all leaders.
