UAE's telecom network providers du and Etisalat changed their network names to '30 Nov' to mark Commemoration Day, previously known as Martyrs' Day.
Etisalat on its Twitter account said, "With pride and honour, the network name was changed to 30NOV to celebrate and appreciate Martyrs' great sacrifices to the of the nation"

The Commemoration Day (Martyr's Day) is marked on 30th November every year, the day the first Emirati martyr fell in the line of duty.
The day will see the UAE flag raised at half mast at 8am, and a minute of silence observed at 11.30am across ministries and private and public establishments. The flag will then be raised, followed by the national anthem.
Etisalat and du customers were surprised to see the change and took to the social media to share the moment.
