Abu Dhabi - 35 foreigners were killed and four others injured when a bus crashed with another heavy vehicle in the holy city of Madinah.

The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a cable of condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud where he expressed sympathy over the pilgrim deaths of the bus crash that took place near the Muslim holy city of Madinah on Wednesday.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar cables to the Saudi King.
