Two children flying into Dubai on Sunday got a special surprise after they were allowed behind the immigration desk to see how the clearance procedure worked.
During an inspection visit to Dubai airport, General Major Mohammed Al Marri, General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs Director, allowed two inquisitive children to complete their clearance procedures and stamp their own passports.
Dubai Media Office took to Twitter to share a picture of the special moment as the kids got 'VIP' treatment:

According to a statement issued, the kids came with their parents to visit Dubai. While GDRFA Dubai director general was doing his regular inspection at the Dubai Airport's passport control, he saw the two kids curiously looking at the man behind the counter.
Al Marri invited the siblings to come inside the cabin and explained to them how passport check is done. The kids were very inquisitive but they were not aware that Al Marri was the GDRFA director general. Al Marri said he regularly visits Dubai Airports to personally see if people are happy and the staff are properly serving them.
He said he would not hesitate to help anyone and he wants to give visitors a warm welcome to Dubai.
