The UAE is expected to witness solar eclipse on June 21, according to an official. 
Ibrahim Al Jarwan, member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, was quoted by Emarat Al Youm daily, saying that the eclipse will start at 8.12am and will end at 11.12am. The eclipse will reach its peak at 9.35am in the UAE, he said, adding that the eclipse will be visible from 93 per cent of the areas. 
Al Jarwan explained that the eclipse will start in Sudan, followed by Ethiopia, Yemen, Oman, Pakistan, India, then China and South East Asiacountries.
