A new mosque has opened in Dubai that pays tribute to UAE's martyred soldiers.
Mohammed Al Shaibani, Director General of Dubai Ruler's Court, officially opened the new 'Martyrs Mosque' located at Muhaisnah area in Dubai.
The mosque was built following a generous donation from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai's wife, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum, said a brief statement tweeted by the Dubai Media Office.

Earlier in 2018, a new mosque in Al Dheit South, Ras Al Khaimah, was named after a UAE martyr, Hassan Abdullah Mohammed Al Beshr.
The instructions were issued by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, who helped fund the grand masjid's construction.
