Heavy traffic and several accidents caused delays to commuters in UAE on Tuesday morning.
Dubai Police reported an accident through their official Twitter handle. "Traffic jam due to stalled truck on Emirates Road towards Abu Dhabi," the tweet read.

In another tweet, the police also advised to take alternative route after an accident was reported near Global Village, towards Abu Dhabi.
There is also heavy traffic on the roads headed from Al Nahda and Al Wadha street heading into Dubai.

Meanwhile in the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport at 07:42 took to Twitter to report an accident on Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road before Mahwi Bridge bridge towards Al Ain. The left lane has been blocked. The incident caused heavy delays and snarls, which was cleared at 08:05am.
Another accident was reported at 08:12am on Fatima bint Mubarak Street/Hazza bin Zayed Street inbound. The right lane has been blocked.
 

There is also heavy traffic on the roads headed from Al Nahda and Al Wadha street heading into Dubai.
