Don't leave kids alone in swimming pools, warn Abu Dhabi Police

Abu Dhabi - Force offers tip to prevent drowning incidents.

The Abu Dhabi Police have warned parents about the the danger of leaving their children alone in swimming pools.  
On its official Facebook page, the police said that reason behind many drowning incidents involving children was that parents left them alone at the pool inside the home compound.
Parents' awareness is the main point for protecting their children from such tragic accidents, the police added. They warned that parents should never get distracted while their children are in the pools as drowning incidents happen just in a few minutes.
Parents should put a fence around the pools to protect the children from slipping down accidentally, the police added.
