A comet was passed by in UAE skies on Friday morning, according to the International Astronomical Center (IAC).
In a tweet posted by the IAC, the Swan Comet (C/2020 F8) was seen on the morning of May 15, 2020 in Abu Dhabi. It was about magnitude 5.5.
The comet is the latest one to tease skywatchers with its magnificent tail, which is some 10 million miles (16 million kilometers) long, Cnet reported.

Comet Atlas seemed to be a big deal earlier this year before it broke up and fizzled out. Comet Swan was discovered in late March.
The comet made its closest pass by Earth on May 13 and comes nearest to the sun on May 27.
