Abu Dhabi Police issued a warning to residents on Monday after a boy's 'generous' call on the emergency number.
The General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police recently received a lunch invitation from a generous child on the emergency number (999).
Appreciating the kind gesture, the force said that they would arrange it on a later date, according to a statement on the Abu Dhabi Police Instagram page.
However, the police urged residents to not call on 999 unless it is an emergency case - as even keeping the line engaged for a few minutes could mean saving someone's life, the police added.
