If you think an evening or a night out with friends in Dubai would cost you a couple of hundred dirhams in Dubai, think again!  
We have scoured the internet to put together a list of 10 things Dubai residents and tourists can do for or under Dh50.
No, it doesn't only include watching a movie or chatting with your friends over coffee!

1-You can visit the Dubai Frame and get a breathtaking view of the city for just Dh50 for adults. What more, children can enter for Dh20. The elderly (above 65 years) can enter free and so can the children under 3 years of age.

2-The Dubai Safari offers an absolute treat for animal lovers for Dh50. Home to the more than 2,500 species of animals in the UAE, the Safari is a must-visit for any visitor without burning a hole in their pocket.
3-Nothing can revive your spirits better than taking a walk in the midst of the fresh blooms at the Dubai Miracle Garden for an absolutely miraculous cost of Dh45.
4-The Global Village, true to its name converges the world in a few acres of land in Dubai and cruising along its artificial water canal with views of the pavilion is just what you might want to do. It costs only Dh50 per trip which lasts from 12 to 15 minutes.
Entry to Global Village is Dh15/person. And if you get lucky, you could watch a free concert on the main cultural stage with no extra money.
5- Nothing can brighten up your child's day better than having to see a fabulous Dolphin and seal show at the Dubai Dolphinarium, where a regular 11:00am show ticket for children from 2-11 years of age costs Dh50.
6-You can also get a glimpse into the history of the UAE at the Dubai Museum "Al Fahidi Fort" for Dh3 for adults, and Dh1 for children under the age of 6. Built in 1787, this fort is situated at the south of Dubai Creek, at the Al Souk Al Kabir area. A visit to this place would give any visitor a rich lesson in history, that no textbook can. 
7- A visit to another one of the 'hidden archeological gems' in Dubai comes with a price tag of Dh20 for adults and Dh10 for children from 7 to 12 years of age. The Saruq Al-Hadid Archaeology Museum is located in the Shindagha Heritage District of Dubai. Built in 1928, this particular museum could give any visitor ample insight into a remote desert site that had been a centre for metal working 3,000 years ago.
8- Cruising along Dubai's latest attraction, the Dubai Water Canal, with a backdrop of Dubai's awe-inspiring skyline in petrol heritage abra can be an experience to remember. You can surely indulge in one for Dh25 for a whole hour.

The fare is AED25 per rider or AED300 per hour for abra charting. The service hours start from 4:00 pm to 11.30 pm during all weekdays. Tourist journeys on Dubai Ferry are also available on demand in case of congestion experienced by the traditional abra. It is forecasted that the ridership of the service would be in the order of 23,000 riders per annum, and the service would be running tentatively for three months. The Department had already endorsed the operation of marine transit services in 9 new stations; 5 at the Dubai Water Canal (Sheikh Zayed Rd, Safa Park, Al Wasl, Jumeirah, and the Dubai Water Canal) and 4 stations at the Business Bay (Dubai Design District, Waterfront, Marasi and the Business Bay). #RTANews

9-There is nothing like some cinematic therapy to unwind after a long day. A standard movie ticket in Dubai costs between Dh35 to Dh40, including VAT (ticket prices are subject to change).
10- The Dubai Fountain at the Dubai Mall is a grand experience, whether you are watching it for the first time or the 100th time and now, to make the experience even better, the organisers have set up a fountain broadwalk to take you closer than ever to the fountain. A brand new floating platform located within the fountain pool area will give the audience a whole new perspective of the captivating performances.
Open between 5pm and 11pm daily, the experience is only Dh20 per person for those older than four years of age. Tickets are available at the Fountain promenade, Burj Park and At the Top, Burj Khalifa ticket counters.
