The prayers were offered at Zabeel Mosque.
According to a statement issued by the Dubai Media Office on Wednesday, the prayers were offered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
They were joined by several Sheikhs of the Al Maktoum family.
Sheikh Hamdan's nephews Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed were among those who carried the body to the final resting place.
