Video: Civil Defence put out Dubai tower fire on Thursday
No injuries reported, according to a statement issued.
A major fire that erupted in a Dubai tower on Thursday night has been successfully put out.
According to a brief statement issued by the Dubai Media Office, the fire erupted in Duja Tower opposite World Trade Centre.
Netizens took to social media to post videos of the blaze as it spread through the building located around Sheikh Zayed Road.
The statement - issued on Thursday night - added that emergency teams were extinguishing a fire on the external facade of the tower.

Eyewitnesses said that the fire had already been out at around 9.30pm.
In one of the videos, a crowd of people can be seen gathering under the building.
No injuries were reported as the building had been evacuated to ensure safety of the residents.
