Umm Al Quwain warehouse fire contained, 80 people evacuated

Umm Al Quwain - No casualties were reported.

A massive fire broke out in a warehouse in Umm Al Quwain late Monday night.
According to the Civil Defence, they received a notification at 11pm that a fire had erupted in a warehouse in Umm Al Quwain's old industrial area.
Teams were dispatched from the UAQ police, the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, and UAQ Municipality.   
80 people were evacuated from the premises.
The fire was contained from spreading to nearby warehouses.
Dr. Salem Hamad bin Hamza, Director of Civil Defense Department Umm Al Quwain reported no human casualties.
Major Abdullah Saleh Al Falahi, Head of the Centers Department, Captain Yousef Abdulrahman, City Centre Director, and Captain Rashid Jassim, Officer of Al-Abraq Center helped put out the blaze.
