Fayaz worked as a driver for a local company and had been born and raised in Dubai, his elder brother Mushtaq told Khaleej Times. "He was the most loved in our family," he said. Fayaz had been married only a few years ago and the couple had lots of plans together. The family belonged to Multan.
"Our entire family is based in the UAE and when he got married with Fayza, we all supported him," said Mushtaq.
Fayza's brother Yousaf told Khaleej Times that she was a twin. "We all just came back from Pakistan after the marriage of her twin sister and Fayza was very happy since her visa issues had also been resolved recently," said Yousaf.
He said Fayza had also told her elder sister that she would not visit Pakistan every three months now, but only after two years.
"She had shopped for Ramadan and brought Eid clothes for herself, her son and husband. She was looking forward to a new life," he said. The family lives in Ajman and comprise six sisters and two brothers. "My parents are currently in Pakistan and are shocked after hearing of the deaths," he said.
Officials from the Welfare Section of the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai have been helping out the family to complete the formalities. While Fayaz and Shamim will be buried in Multan, Fayza will buried in Lahore after the police release the bodies.
