Robust performance acknowledged at its annual general meeting
A water leak from a public pipe that flooded a road in Dubai on Wednesday has been drained and open to motorists, authorities announced in a statement issued this evening.
Taking to social media, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said that the traffic was back to normal after teams completed water drainage at the site.
Earlier, in the day RTA had warned of delays on Marasi Drive in Business Bay "due to water leakage from a Dubai Municipality service line"
The authority advised drivers to be cautious and use alternative roads to reach the Business Bay area. These include Al Mustaqbal Street for those coming from Al Khail Street on Al Meydan Rd.; and Business Bay Street 1 for those coming from Sheikh Zayed Road.
