A 75-year-old Emirati man, who was driving his 14-year-old daughter to school, died after collision with another vehicle in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday morning.
The teenage girl and the 20-year-old Emirati driver of the other car involved in the accident sustained minor injuries, said Colonel Ahmad Al Sam Al Naqbi, director of traffic and patrols department, RAK Police.
The impact of the collision was so huge that the elderly man died on the spot, he added.

"Drivers need to strictly adhere to traffic rules and regulations, mainly at crowded areas and close to schools."
