A 29-year old Indian expat was killed in a road accident in Dubai on Friday morning when their minivan hit a truck.
Muhammad Sawad, from Malappuran District, Kerala, who was on the passenger seat died on the spot, said social worker Naseer Vatanappally told Khaleej Times.
Mohamed Abdul Bari, 42, who was driving, was injured and is currently undergoing treatment at Emirates Hospital in Dubai.
The accident happened when both men were returning to Abu Dhabi after buying fish from Dubai.
"They are working together and supply fish to restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Both men have families living in the UAE," said Vatanappally.
