Dubai: You won't receive paper tickets for parking violations
The change will take effect from March 28.
Starting next week, motorists in Dubai will receive notifications about parking violations only through a short message service (SMS) and e-mail.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has announced that it will stop issuing all paper parking violations from Sunday, March 28, as part of the emirate’s drive for government entities to go paperless in line with its digitisation strategy.
The authority asked vehicle owners in the emirate to update their details by calling the RTA’s customer service numbers.
