A Dubai restaurant is offering a free meal to diners on the launch of its new branch at Mall of the Emirates.

The popular filmy and colourful Dubai restaurant Khau Galli is all set to open its third branch at Mall of the Emirates on Tuesday, February 16. To celebrate the occasion, it is inviting guests to enjoy a free meal and savour the flavours of their gastronomic spread.

In order to avail of the offer, all guests have to do is tag Khau Galli on their Instagram feed to avail the "All You Can Eat For Free" offer on the launch day.

"We are extending this offer as we are absolutely delighted to bring authentic vegetarian food to the food court at MoE — and, of course, as a part of the celebrations of our new branch opening," said the owners. "Aaj ki party humari taraf se," they added, alluding to a popular Bollywood song, which translates to "Today's party is on us".

The owners added that their customers are "the real influencers", so they would be grateful if guests spread the word.

Addressing safety concerns in light of the coronavirus pandemic, they said, "The mall has tables that are three metres apart. Social distancing will also be managed by the mall as we are located in the food court. We are making sure that we are compliant with the recommended safety rules in every way."

The Indian restaurant brand was launched by Dubai-based couple Priyanka Agarwal Mandelia and Aanand Mandelia, both qualified Chartered Accountants, who left their jobs to follow their heart and embark on their love for their roots, the Indian culture and heartwarming Indian food.

The couple opened their first Khau Galli restaurant in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers community in 2019 and their second outlet in Ibn Batutta Mall last year.
