Bill authors want to send a message of support to Black people, others who have faced hostility because of their hair
Three workers were injured after a vehicle crashed through a shop on the side of a road in Dubai’s Al Raffa area. The driver had reportedly lost control of the vehicle, the police said on Monday.
Brigadier Ahmed Thani bin Ghalita, director of Al Raffa Police Station in Dubai, said the accident happened on Thursday when the driver was trying to move from one road to another. Instead of hitting the brakes to slow the car down, he mistakenly stepped on the gas. The SUV then hurtled toward the shop, smashing into the storefront and glass windows.
In the photos shared by the police, the SUV could be seen right inside the store, with the glass window completely shattered.
Workers who were in the area at the time of the accident had to be treated for minor injuries. Legal action had been taken against the driver, the officer said.
Brig Ghalita urged drivers to keep their eyes on the road at all times, especially when turning from one road to another.
