UAE expat suspects maid of stealing, lays trap

Dubai - He had suspected her of previous thefts but had no proof.

A maid was caught stealing Dh200 from her sponsor's wallet in Dubai.
The Arab national had suspected that the maid was behind money disappearing from his home but had no proof, as per Emarat Al Youm report.
He decided to place Dh1,500 in his wallet, consisting of two Dh500 and one Dh200 denomination. After leaving his wallet conspicuously on the table, he went out for prayer. 
He returned to find the Dh200 was missing. 
She denied stealing the money even after he confronted her. The man called the police and she confessed in their presence to taking the money and placing it in the bottom of a cabinet in the living room.
The woman was referred to the public prosecution, tried, and confessed to her crime.
