Thief dies after jumping from fifth floor in Dubai

He hit another balcony while jumping.

A thief jumped to his death as he tried to escape from a fifth floor apartment in Warsan, Dubai. 
The Dubai Police received a call regarding the death of a person and found him lying in a pool of blood. The team found a wallet of a person staying on the fifth floor in the thief's pocket.
During examinations, the investigators and forensic experts found that the man had hit another balcony while jumping as his blood stains were found. 
The thief worked at a restaurant, lived in the same building and waited for everybody to leave before embarking on robbing them. The residents in the apartment were mostly Arab workers and employees and were victims of robbery in recent times. 
Investigations have revealed that the accused was trying to rob a sleeping roommate on the fifth floor when somebody spotted him. In a bid to escape, he jumped from the fifth floor and fell to his death. The body was handed over to his family.  
The case was submitted to the public prosecution and would be closed as the accused is dead.
