Man kills five people for pushing lover into prostitution in Abu Dhabi
The woman had been working at a so-called massage parlour.
Five Asian persons, one man and four women, were murdered after a man discovered they had forced his girlfriend into prostitution.
The defendant and his girlfriend have been charged with stabbing five people to death by the Abu Dhabi Criminal Court. Eight others have been charged with running a brothel (under the pretext of it being a massage parlour), aiding and abetting criminal activities, and psychotropic substance abuse, reported Al Khaleej.
The murder, of Asian nationality, said in his statement before the court: "On the day of the incident, I had been shopping with my girlfriend and bought some fruit and a knife."
After going to her workplace and in the midst of preparing breakfast, a man and four women entered. His girlfriend went with the women to another room.
"I asked the man, 'Did you have sex with (my girlfriend) when I'm not there'. The man refrained from answering, then when I asked him again, he nodded his head. Enraged at his response, I hastily went, picked up the knife, and stabbed him," according to Al Bayan.
When the first woman saw what happened, she tried to run away but the girlfriend pulled her hair till she fell. She begged him not to kill her but he was "possessed by the devil" and attacked her anyway, stabbing her multiple times.
The duo then agreed to kill the rest of the workers in order to prevent them from going to the authorities.
