Man in Dubai takes over 100 videos of five women in bathroom

A man in Dubai has been accused of breaching the privacy of five women by filming them naked on Thursday.
The 41-year-old Asian employee had placed a small camera with a portable charger with a memory card in the ceiling of the bathroom.
He lived in a 2-bedroom flat in Naif area with a couple, the sister of the husband, and three other women.
The first victim, the 32-year-old wife, said that she had entered the bathroom and was readying for her bath. She thought she saw a camera lens near the ceiling but forgot to inform the rest.
The following day, another woman entered to bathe and also noticed the lens. She removed the camera and gave it to another friend to investigate.   
The third woman took out the memory chip and put it into her phone to watch the contents. They saw a video of one of the women in the flat as she took off her clothes and took her bath. 
As they were watching the video in horror, the man woke and realised the camera was in their possession. He tried to take it from them but they refused. 
After profusely apologising and swearing he wouldn't repeat the offence, the women agreed to forgive him because he assured them there were no other videos or pictures of them in his possession.    
The second woman took the memory chip and placed it in a laptop, whereupon she discovered over a hundred pictures and videos of her and the other female flatmates in states of undress. She also noticed a video of a woman who lived with them months ago. 
It was then that she decided to file a complaint with the police. 
The man was detained and interrogated. He confessed to installing the camera last December, and filming both the men and women. He would then edit the contents and keep what he liked. 
The court postponed the next hearing till October 8.
