Duo held in UAE for leaking exam answers

Abu Dhabi - The suspects received between Dh500 to Dh1,000 from students to leak the answer sheet.

Two Arab persons have been arrested for leaking model answers of the general secondary school examinations, the Abu Dhabi Police reported on Saturday.
Investigations carried out by the police revealed that the suspects received between Dh500 to Dh1,000 from students to leak the answer sheet. All the equipment used for the case by the accused have been seized by the police.
Additionally, the police announced in a statement posted on its Instagram account that the cyber crimes division received a tip-off about the fraud and a team was formed to probe the case.
The team nabbed the suspects who confessed to their crimes. They said that they worked together and provided many answers to different students using mobile apps.
The police urged authorities concerned to ban mobile phones inside examination halls and try new methods to prevent exam cheating.
