Emirati Jiu-Jitsu stars win 23 medals, athletes grab 11 medals, and People of Determination excel with 14 medals
Public prosecution records show that the Indian defendant was working at a barbershop on September 26 last year, when he allegedly took advantage of the Emirati victim's condition to touch him inappropriately. He was in the country on a visit visa.
He denied the charge in court.
The victim's 30-year-old brother said: "Around 8pm, I went to a barbershop in Jumeirah with my brother. I asked one of the workers there to cut his hair while I waited.
"He finished about half an hour later and when we went home, my brother told me in sign language that the barber molested him. He told me the barber touched his shoulder, thigh and chest."
The witness then took his younger brother back to the shop and confronted the barber, who then denied the accusations. But the worker was arrested by the police at the shop.
A policeman, who questioned the defendant, quoted him as admitting to molesting the boy.
