Woman hires gang in UAE to loot, kill roommate

Abu Dhabi - She opened the door for them while the victim slept.

A woman and four men have been accused of murdering a female compatriot in Abu Dhabi.
The victim's roommate, an Asian national, had masterminded the entire plot, as per Emarat Al Youm report. 
Her motive was to get out of dire financial straits, so she made a plan to kill the woman and steal her money and jewellery.
She called the men and arranged for them to enter the flat while her roommate was asleep.
When the victim had fallen unconscious, the accused called the men and opened the door to her roommate's room for them.
Upon waking her, one of them pretend he was a CID officer and asked for her ID, but she was too suspicious. 
Before she could start screaming, they muffled her mouth, tied her up with a sari, and smothered her face with a pillow until she suffocated to death.    
They stole her money, split it amongst themselves, and gave the valuables to a jeweller. 
The third accused had a video clip on his phone, where he filmed the victim while she was tied up. Her face bore signs of terror and panic. The clip also recorded the men agreeing on the need to kill the victim. 
The court adjourned the case to hear from the fourth accused's defence lawyer.
