Woman blackmails celebrity in UAE with indecent video on YouTube

Dubai - They started talking on Instagram and became romantically involved on WhatsApp.

A woman in Dubai tried to blackmail a famous celebrity by posting an indecent video clip on YouTube.
The Arab national had contacted the celebrity on his Instagram account.
They exchanged phone numbers and began talking on WhatsApp until they became romantically involved, as per Al Khaleej report. 
The relationship developed to the extent that he sent the woman a video clip of himself doing indecent acts.
After some time, he was surprised to get a phone call asking him for a large sum of money or else he would see that video on YouTube. 
The threat was not an idle one, as the video did indeed go up on YouTube. After notifying the police, they were able to pull down the video and arrest the culprit. 
Ahmed Al Harithi, a specialist from Al Ameen Service, warned the public from giving out any personal details including the full age, date of birth, or any financial matters, to unknown persons. 
He also urged residents to refrain from entertaining any unknown calls from outside the UAE.
Notify the authorities on 8004888 should you come across any suspicious number or incident.
