Practical joke in Dubai lands one friend in coma, another in jail
Dubai - The incident took place in a car wash shop where the duo worked.
The duo used to work in a car wash shop where the incident happened. Playing a prank, the accused took a blow gun air compressor, meant to clean vehicles, near his friend's ear. The victim asked him to stop, and resisted him. But the accused continued with the jest. The victim suddenly passed out due to the pressure of the air entering his ear. Rattled, the accused called the ambulance, and rushed his friend to the hospital. It turned out that the victim had suffered permanent disability in his ear, and slipped into a coma.
The authorities conducted an investigation. The accused confessed to having caused injury to his friend, following which the court sentenced him to prison.
