An Asian physiotherapist will be deported after he was found guilty of molesting a 45-year-old Canadian patient. However, his 3-month jail sentence has been suspended.

Public prosecution's documents revealed that the 38-year-old health worker tried to kiss the woman patient who was receiving treatment at the center where he worked. The man also touched her body inappropriately which rattled the woman. She reported the incident to the police.

The complainant said that the incident happened during her physiotherapy session in May. She left the center in utter shock and sent a text message to the physiotherapist asking him 'why he behaved indecently'. The man replied that he couldn't resist himself as she is beautiful.

The woman lodged her complaint at the Bur Dubai police station, and the man was arrested.

The public prosecution included the text messages between the complainant and the accused as evidence.

The case was referred to the criminal court, which sentenced the man to 3-month imprisonment and deportation.

The man challenged the order at the Dubai Court of Appeal, which upheld the deportation but suspended the jail sentence.
