Man arrested for kidnapping, raping woman in UAE

Fujairah - He was detained and referred to the public prosecutor.

A man has been accused of kidnapping and raping a young woman in Fujairah.
The GCC national allegedly kidnapped the Arab woman, deprived her of her freedom, and raped her, as per Al Khaleej report. 
Police received a notification of the incident and detained the man for further investigation.
His lawyer argued in court that the woman's medical examination did not show evidence of rape, nor were there any witnesses to the event.
She also claimed that her client had no knowledge of the woman nor had he seen her before in his life. 
The court deferred the next hearing to a later date.
