Father tries to smuggle drugs into Dubai in son's bag
Dubai - He was also carrying large quantities of contraband.
The Dubai Criminal Court heard the case of a man who tried to smuggle 425 tramadol pills in his 15-year-old son's bag as they were travelling to Dubai, according to local media reports.
The accused, an Arab national, also had in his possession six plastic rolls containing 24 pieces of cannabis and about 1,000 tramadol pills, as per initial details.
The Public Prosecution charged him with transporting drugs, possession of drugs, and possession of drugs for the intent of abuse.
