The woman allegedly used her apartment in the city to meet her clients, whom she would communicate with on social media. She claimed that she could address psychological problems and family issues through her practices for a sum of money.
Brigadier Mohammed Suhail Al Rashdi, director of criminal security sector, stressed the police's commitment to confront and take legal action against those who practice such acts.
He also urged the public to cooperate with the police and report any people practising "witchcraft and sorcery", as they deceive their victims to make money illegally.
He pointed out the importance of enhancing awareness among people to avoid dealing with the practitioners of these methods, as they mislead the public.
