Dubai worker molests boy near mosque

Dubai - He has been referred to criminal court for further prosecution.

An Asian worker has been arrested after molesting an 8-year-old boy in Al Qusais 3, Dubai.
The incident, according to Dubai Public Prosecution files, happened in October 2019 when the worker molested the boy and escaped after asking him to help him fix his bicycle.
The boy told his mother after he went home that the worker molested him and stopped when he noticed people coming out of the mosque.
The child was later able to identify the defendant while walking near Fatima Mosque with his uncle, who caught the defendant and reported him to the police.
The worker claims that he only assaulted the victim on his back, and did not mean to molest him.
The public prosecution referred the defendant to the criminal court for further legal proceedings.
