Real estate developer MAG pledges to cover all the costs of necessary repairs for affected residents
A transport company driver stole a bus from his firm and sold it for Dh13,000, a Dubai court has heard.
According to the Dubai Public Prosecution records, the accused used to transport workers from their accommodations to the workplace. He was then promoted to be a supervisor.
He had a copy of the key of the bus. He knew there would be no one around in the parking bay on the weekends. He sneaked in, stole the bus and sold it off, the court heard.
A driver went to the bay the next day and was surprised when he could not find the bus there. He called the defendant, who advised him to call the police.
The police reviewed the CCTV cameras' footage and confronted the defendant, who then confessed to the crime.
