An Asian gang involved in printing and circulating fake currency has been arrested, the Umm Al Quwain Police said. Acting on a tip-off, the CID police launched intensive investigations, and tracked down the gang members, including gangsters of different nationalities. 
"The gang was busted and Dh132,000 worth of fake notes of Dh1,000 denominations were seized from their possession," police sources pointed out. Up to 10,280 Kuwaiti Dinars, along with Dh72,752 Turkmenistan currency, were also found on them, they added.
"The suspects were referred to the UAQ public prosecution for legal action."
