A male teacher has been charged for molesting a student in a classroom.
The teacher has been charged at the Dubai Court of First Instance after he allegedly molested a 16-year-old student inside a classroom.

Public prosecution records show that the 55-year-old Syrian teacher behaved inappropriately with the student, also Syrian, taking advantage of him being alone with the boy. The latter had gone to the school with his mother to get his end of the academic year results on July 11.
A complaint was lodged at Bur Dubai police station.
The court heard how the defendant lured the boy inside an under maintenance classroom, where he molested him.
The schoolboy recounted during the prosecution's investigation that his mother waited for him in the administration office while he went to greet his teachers. "It was around noon when I came across one of my teachers (the defendant). He was in the hallway. I told him that I failed in two subjects. He advised me about how to pass the exams."
The teacher then told him to go inside a classroom. "He began to joke with me. He then grabbed me by the neck and stood very close, touching and hugging me. I pushed him away," the boy recalled.
When a worker came in, the teacher took the student outside to another classroom.
"He again tried to molest me while asking me about how difficult the exam was. When I yelled at him, he asked me twice not to complain about him," the student added.
However, the defendant kept molesting him and even tried to kiss the boy on the lips.
The victim told his mother on their way back from school about the incident.
The mother said that while in the administration office, she had tried for more than 15 minutes to call her son - but in vain.
"He finally came with the defendant. The latter gave me his mobile number offering private tuitions for my son."
When she learned from her son about the teacher's behavior, she told the administration that she would report him to the police. "Since the matter was sensitive, I waited for two days before I filed a police complaint," she told the investigator.
The trial has been adjourned to October 15.
