To ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain safety during New Year's Eve celebrations, Roads and Transport Authority Dubai will implement an organised plan around the Burj Khalifa area, including the operation of 200 buses free of charge.
The free bus service will transport visitors from the event venue to metro stations in addition to taxi parking spots in each of the parking lots of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Musallah Al Eid hall in Al Mankhool and Al Wasl Club, so that people can reach them via the free bus service - after the end of the celebrations.

For the public's safety, the pedestrian bridges on the water canal, the water canal elevators, and the pedestrian pier on the Sheikh Zayed Bridge will be closed.
