Hailstorm, rains in Ras Al Khaimah; valleys flooded

Dubai - The National Centre of Metrology and Seismology (NCMS) said a heavy cloud cover is expected over the southern and eastern areas of the country.

Hailstorms and heavy rains lashed Masafi and other areas in Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday. Al Ajili valley in Ras Al Khaimah witnessed heavy rains for the second day, which led to flooding.
Heavy rains were also reported from Fujairah.
The National Centre of Metrology and Seismology (NCMS) said a heavy cloud cover is expected over the southern and eastern areas of the country today and tomorrow.
Cloudy conditions will prevail by afternoon with chances of rainfall. Moderate winds in general, freshening at times, will cause blowing dust that may lead to poor visibility. Waves will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate to rough at times in the Oman Sea.
