Teen girl's fatal fall from Sharjah high-rise under probe

The Al Buhariah Police has taken many people into custody for interrogation.

The Sharjah Police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old Arab girl who fell from the18th floor of a building in Al Tawoon area in Sharjah on Monday night.
On receiving information about the incident at the operations room, the police immediately rushed to the site where they found the girl lying in a pool of blood. Her body was shifted to the forensic laboratory, after being taken to hospital. The cops carried out intensified investigation to ascertain the cause behind the fatal fall.
The Al Buhariah Police have taken many people into custody for interrogation.
The hospital said the girl was motionless when she was brought there by national ambulance. She had suffered severe damage in her skull and fractures in various parts of her body, it said.
