Ras Al Khaimah will host a four-day motorbike show and expo from March 21-24 with a focus on business and adventure.
The RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Harley Davidson Company, promised a one-of-a-kind experience, both for bike lovers and the general public filled with various indoor and outdoor activities
The event will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The event will comprise a bike business expo, custom bike show and competition, Stunt Master's Cup and a finale ride dubbed 'Zayed in our Hearts', which will see over 500 bikers from around the world riding all the way to Jebel Jais.
"More details are to be unveiled during a conference," he said. "We will try to break more world records, or at least break a record in every edition of the show."
RAK Road Riders 2018 combines business and the passion for bikes in a unique event where there is something for everyone, he added.
"The event, which also marks the Year of Zayed, will enhance the emirate's economy through economic diversification in the fields of international exhibition and event organisation."
"The ride will mark the finale of RAK Road Riders 2018, with local and international riders taking a charted route from the heart of the emirate to Jebel Jais, the highest mountain range in the UAE."
Apart from these, the event will also have entertainment activities for families, a kid's zone and a bike auction, he added.
"The event's business expo segment will have an array of bike retailers showcasing the latest machines and accessories. The business expo will also see the participation of custom bike shops and workshops."
It is the first time the world famous Stunt Master's Cup is coming to Ras Al Khaimah and the event will have over 30 local and international participants, he disclosed.
"The Custom Bike Show will be an opportunity for local bike enthusiasts to display their creativity," he said, adding that the event will also complement the reputation of RAK as a world famous tourist destination.
He announced that the RAK Road Riders 2018, to be organised in cooperation with the Events Lab, will have a professional motorcycle show, which will be held in the presence of representatives from the Guinness World Records.
