Indian community members visited the families of the Agusta 139 chopper crash victims to offer condolences, Khaleej Times has learnt.

The RAK Indian Relief Committee visited the family of Humaid Muhammad Suwaid Al Sabi and Jassim Abdullah Ali Lamash al Thaneeji, and expressed condolences. Among those who paid their respects were Adv Najumudeen, general secretary of the committee, Dr Sajid Kadakkal, Mohan Pankath, managing committee member, and Pushpan Govindan, a social worker.
The chopper was on a mission to rescue an Indian national who fell off the highest peak in the country. The patient, identified as R.B., said he was shocked to see the rescue chopper requested to airlift him to the hospital erupting in flames after crashing onto the Jebel Jais.
