Seven Asian residents stood trial at the Ras Al Khaimah Criminal Court over charges of forging ID documents and illegally working with an employer other than their sponsor.
Court records show that the seven suspects used fake identification documents to work with a sponsor other than their legal one in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Apart from forged IDs, the defendants also used fake passport copies of other workers and were given access to a restricted zone of the company.
The first four suspects admitted they were heading to the restricted zone to work with the fifth defendant, who provided them with the access cards of other workers.
The court ordered adjournment of the case to the end of this June when it will issue its ruling.
