King Salman awarded UAEs highest civilian honour Order of Zayed

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has conferred the Order of Zayed on The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, in recognition to his pivotal role in strengthening the fraternal cooperation between the two countries and supporting the Gulf and the Arab common action.
This came during the reception held this evening at Al Mushrif Palace, Abu Dhabi, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his accompanying delegation.
Earlier His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers, welcomed here on Saturday The King of Saudi Arabia.
They expressed their pride in the relationship of the UAE, led by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in terms of solid fraternal ties.
The event was also attended by various officials and dignitaries. The reception was also attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The two countries have been working together to revamp the ties that unite the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC), and sustain their strategic continuous cooperation and coordination in issues of concern to the GCC and the Arab region as well.
