His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has stressed the new Cabinet with its new and young blood would continue to work to achieve aspirations of Emiratis in development and welfare, and to consolidate the country's stature at the regional and international levels.
 Shaikh Mohammed made the remarks on Sunday while attending the sworn in ceremony of the 12 new Cabinet ministers at Mushref Palace, Abu Dhabi.
 He noted, "The new Cabinet comes at an important stage of the UAE, which moves steadily with an unlimited ambition towards a better future for present and future generations, taking advantage of its solid development base of human resources and the nation, founded by the late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and aiming to building a bright future under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan."
 Shaikh Mohammed said that the UAE set new concepts of nation-building and development, thanks to the sense of belonging enjoyed by its citizens, and the wisdom of its leadership.
He also commended the great efforts exerted by the Government of the UAE, led by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Shaikh Mohammed stressed that the new cabinet would work in line with the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to tackle effectively and positively the surrounding challenges as well as transform them into opportunities for benefit of the coming generations.
He added that the new Cabinet demonstrates that the UAE "is determined to move steadily towards comprehensive development. He reiterated that the Cabinet, through the creative thinking of its citizens, would make the country a role model for others in the field of youth and woman empowerment, and would also bring happiness and prosperity to its people, as well as strengthen noble values.
 Shaikh Mohammed pointed out that the new Council of Ministers represents "a source of pride for every Emirati as it is the first time in the history of the UAE that the country has a minister of state who is 22 year old, and also has a minister of state for tolerance and a minister of state for happiness." Therefore, he continued, it was not a surprise that this government was greeted with wide applause.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also emphasised that serving the country "is an honour for any loyal and patriotic Emirati citizen," adding that each minister has a huge responsibility and the UAE citizens are waiting for them to deliver. He said the citizens expect the ministers build upon the legacy of the past years, and work as one team, focussing on interests of the citizens.
 Shaikh Mohammed extended his thanks to the former ministers, referring to their valuable contribution during the previous years, which reflected their dedication and patriotism.He also wished the new ministers good luck, reiterating his full confidence that the new government would lead the country to a new stage of development.
