Zayed receives Gaddafi letter
ABU DHABI - The President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, yesterday received a letter from Libyan leader Col. Muammer Gaddafi, dealing with latest developments.
The letter was delivered to Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, by Abdul Hamid Fathi Farahat, Ambassador of Libya to UAE.
Shaikh Zayed has sent messages of greetings to Guido de Marco, President of Malta; Iajuddin Ahmed, President of Bangladesh; and Constantinos Stephanopoulos, President of Greece; on their national days.
His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has also greeted leaders of Malta, Bangladesh and Greece.
