Woman dies due to Al Khail gas blast injuries

According to relative Yousuf Siraj, the eldest woman in the flat, Sherin Ghandi, died in Rashid Hospital.

One of the women who was injured in the blast which wrecked a flat in Dubai's Al Khail Gate Community on Wednesday morning has died of her injuries, a family member has confirmed to Khaleej Times.
According to relative Yousuf Siraj, the eldest woman in the flat, Sherin Ghandi, died in Rashid Hospital.
He added that the younger woman, Marium, remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with burns over 50 per cent of her body and remains in critical condition. The family, Siraj said, is still hopeful that she will survive.
A three-month old baby girl who was in the flat is in now in "perfect" condition, and is with Marium's husband, who was not home at the time of the blast.
